In this course we will learn the basic principles of the human voice experience: The physical body as a tool with certain frequencies and the ability to be aware of sound frequencies in the body; Enhancement and expansion of the correlation between the body and its sound frequencies; Developing an awareness of the body structure as a supporter of the voice; Familiarity with the phenomenon of echo and resonance; Body and space , how voice lives, feels and sculpts space; The relationship between sound and the world of feelings , emotions and image; Expanding the range of sound expression; Deepening the relationship between listening and sound; Sound and the singer, how sound creates theatrical language through song and text; Language as space-defining, learning language as live frequencies that travel the body and space. We will work with gibberish and written texts and examine text as a theatrical audio experience.
